LOCAL ACTS: Attitudes is also searching for bands to enter the Battle of the Bands II series this fall! These two acts have separately conquered the Blacksburg alternative rock scene. Now they've made their rock harder and their blues raspier, and are looking to expand their domain. They have packed every venue in Blacksburg - get there early if you want a ticket to their first show in the same room.
Friday, March 21st: The DJ Williams Projekt (Richmond, VA)
No, he's not a DJ. And no, you have not seen anything like this. Ever.
DJ Williams and his acclaimed band have shared the stage with Soulive, Dave Matthews, and Citizen Cope. Their groundbreaking music blends soul, R&B, rock, funk, and some fantastic musicanship. Definitely one of the must-see events at Attitudes this semester.
THE BATTLE IS BACK. Twelve bands, three dates: Winners go on to the finals in April.
